Several weeks ago, my friend, Kimmie from
Art in Red Wagons, held a giveaway for a handmade "tea holder", and I was one of her very luck winners. When I opened the package, the little holder was wrapped in a beautiful napkin so perfectly, I almost didn't want to open it. It was carefully wrapped with twine and trimmed with her Moo card and a sweet little inchie.

I summoned courage and undid the wrappings to find this gorgeous, stitched paper tea holder trimmed with muslin ties and a fabulous twinchie sporting a touch of Dresden trim.
So lovely!

And tucked inside the holder, not one, but
two delicious new teas to try - China Green Tips and Green Ginger.
Thank you, Kimmie, for your generosity. I'll have a very lovely teatime today because of your kindness!
Every
Tuesday, Kimmie and friends host a tea. If you have an opportunity, make yourself a cup of tea
(or coffee) and
stop by her beautiful blog to say
"Hello!" I promise that you won't be disappointed. Kimmie is a very talented and creative artist, and I
know you'll enjoy your visit. (Click

A New Venture
You may have noticed the new logo on my sidebar. I'm proud and very honored to announce that I've been asked to be on the Design Team for
Moonlight Journey. Becky and her partner, Lynne, have a beautiful on-line shop filled with artistic collage sheets, digital element packs, e-classes and PhotoShop classes too. From time to time you'll see some of their awesome images integrated into my work. You can click
here to browse or shop. I'm thrilled to part of their artistic team!
Hope that your day is filled with
lovely surprises!
